Recently, lots of schools and colleges have asked us to audit their work-related learning programmes. The first question we ask during these audits is “what activity do you deliver?” and quite often, we’re told “not much” or “not enough!”
It’s important that your school or college delivers a range of activity within the work-related learning programme. Primarily, because of the proven positive impact on your students’ future career prospects, but also Ofsted will expect it. But what does a high-quality WRL programme actually look like?
The audit below lists some common work-related activity that should be delivered in schools and colleges:
